I learn more when I feel like what I am learning is for me. My dad works hard to show me that girls like me aren't always on commercials, in movies, magazines, and video games that look like me. I tried to find a video game with a black girl character and it was hard. I didn't think it would be. Every day I learn more and more why our t-shirts are important. They remind me and everyone else that wears it to be proud. Be proud even if it feels like others don't see your value.
