When Zendaya took the stage at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, she could have kept things short and sweet. Instead, no doubt inspired by the recent events in Charlottesville, Virginia, she took the opportunity to remind the young audience that they have the power—and responsibility—to make the world better. "I need for you young people to be educated," she said. "I need you to listen. I need you to pay attention. I need you to understand that you have a voice and it's OK to use it when you see something bad happening."
